Well positioned hotel, nothing less of sounder names (Kempinski). New hotel, with brilliant architecture.
Could have been less chlorine in the pool

The hotel had a very nice atmosphere and a luxureus feel...a perfect place for a perfect ending to my roundtrip in Jordan. Reception responded good to questions and complaints. Nice comfortable beds, big bathrooms etc.
That I only got 1 famous DoubleTree cookie!! No, there was not a thing I didn't like.

location, breakfast, close by to everything, nice pool
wasn't appreciated that my wife went swimming in the pool in her bikini (many local men clearly disapproved)... but seriously... you can't expect everyone to wear a burkini???

My room was stylish and new-fashioned with the promised facilities. 2 windows and an iron were available here.

The staff at the Double Tree were warm and welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable.
The hotel had no record of our booking nor the fact that we were booked in for breakfast. The Double Tree sent us an email, prior to our stay, asking if we would like to accept an upgrade offer. We said yes to this offer. The staff at the hotel denied any knowledge of this email, which we found to be very strange. The maintenance team were not very good, they visited the room 4 times over 2 days to try and fix the air-con, in the end we had to ask for a different room, it would have been nice to be offered.

Overall, friendly hotel crew who was eager to please and made me feel welcomed, especially a frontdesk officer named Khalid. Buffet breakfast was ample and appetising. Love the superior room with balcony overlooking the pool with city and sea view. Located a stone's throw away from the public beach and shops/restaurants. The Jett bus office is just a good 10-minute walk from the hotel. Would I try out other Doubletrees in future? Certainly.
No visual on television (white noise, spoilt).

I did not like the receptionist attitude and their way of talking to people and make excuses that its rudeness is due to the pressure and over loads of customers request. I ordered baby Cot three times! I arrived at 1:30 PM and found no room available and they ask me to wait till 3:00 - 4:00 PM although the check in time was mentioned @ 2:00 !! then I took double room instead of my king bed room ! swimming pool opens @ 10:00 am and close @ 5:00 PM same for other facilities !! I missed that of course No one tells us that we can have Beach access ( tickets), I got to know that the second day when i was checking out @ 10:00 AM and no one even try to help or tell us where to go ! no enough vacancies to get in the bus ! I hate the staff and am not satisfied for what I expect in return to the amount i paid !

The lobby was cute with soft lighting, and the decor felt elegant yet comfortable. It was easy to navigate, allowing seniors like me to move around without any hassle.
More assistance with luggage handling would be helpful.
